If you haven't come across the
Carving Consortium yet, check out these sites and the amazing eraser carving
done by this group of very talented people. Makes me feel very inadequate
as a carver, but at least it gives me some more ideas about
techniques..

I joined the Carving Consortium egroup and was so impressed with the
images that I was inspired to carve a large Madonna and Child stamp
for my Christmas cards -- thanks, Jay!

Go for it. After getting involved with stamp carving I made the
same decision. Our cards went out this year with a four color
stamp image on each one (4 different stamps overlayed). Made
personalizing cards a lot of fun too.
